Pork Chops
Applesauce pork chops turns your pork moist and delicious. You can also use a fresh chopped apple for the recipes below.
This applesauce pork chops in the crock pot, makes moist pork chops
that will taste great as a main dish.
2 Cups applesauce
1/3 Cup sugar
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon ginger
6 pork loin chops
2 Tablespoons butter
Combine applesauce, sugar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger in a large
measuring cup or bowl. Mix well. Pour into greased baking dish. Brown
pork chops in butter and place in crock pot. Pour applesauce
mixture over top. Place in your crock pot and cook on low for
6 hours or bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Crockpot Apple Pork
2 lbs pork stew meat, cubed
2 Tbsp frying oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup water
3 Tbsp curry powder
1 Granny Smith apple, cut into 8 wedges
1 medium sweet onion, cut into 8 wedges
hot cooked rice to serve
In skillet, brown pork stew meat in hot oil, then put pork in crockpot
and season with salt and pepper.
Mix water and curry powder and pour into same skillet, stirring to
combine and loosen bits in bottom.
Add apple and onion to crockpot and pour mixture from skillet over all.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours or until pork is tender.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
