Grawbanple Salad
Hi
This is Sumehra. I am in 2nd grade. M
Here is my recipe. I name it as "Grawbanple" by combining some letters from different fruits. My Mom and Dad like the dish very much. I wish kids will also like it.
Recipes for Grawbanple(Grape, Strawberry, Banana, Apple)
Ingredients:
1/2 pound Grape
1/2 pound strawberry
1 piece of banana
1 piece of apple
1 teaspoon sugar
Nestle chocolate powder
Hunts snack pack pudding
Procedure:
Cut into small pieces of all the fruits and decorate in a plate over the banana skin. Then give sugar over fruits and vanilla pudding. Lastly I gave some Nesquik chocolate powder over it. It becomes a wonderful salad dish for kids!
Food values of fruits salad:
Apple has fiber content to lower cholesterol
Strawberries have vitamin C per calorie than any other fruits
Banana contain a lot of potassium
Grape's red skin has cancer-fighting
Hunts pudding is also a source of good calcium.

This fruit salad is extremely rich and creamy. Therefore, it can be eaten only once in a while. This recipe goes perfect on birthday and old-fashioned slumber parties.

2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup canned pineapple
1/2 cup canned strawberries
1/2 cup raisins

2 tablespoons castor sugar
Buttered popcorn (optional)
Dissolve the jelly in the boiling water in a large bowl. Chill till the jelly start to thicken. Mix pineapple, raisins, strawberries, marshmallow, strawberry yogurt and cream with castor sugar in a bowl.
Fold the cream mixture into the prepared jelly. Spoon the jelly mixture into jelly molds or plain salad bowls and refrigerate until set. Garnish with buttered popcorn and marshmallow.

Divinity Divine Fruity Tootie Salad-
This delicious frozen fruit salad recipe is one of my favorites. It's an old, old family recipe that my sisters and I request every year for our birthdays.
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Freezing time: 4 hours
Total Time: 4 hours, 25 minutesYield: 6 to 8 servings
Ingredients:
•1 tsp. unflavored gelatin
•2 Tbsp. lemon juice
•3/4 cup mayonnaise
•3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
•1/4 tsp. salt
•2 Tbsp. sugar
•1 cup finely chopped dates (NOT the pre-cut packaged dates)
•1 (10 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
•1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
Preparation:
In small bowl, soften gelatin in lemon juice. When softened, heat in microwave on LOW power for 30-50 seconds, or until gelatin is dissolved, stirring once during cooking. Set aside.
In large bowl, combine mayonnaise, cream cheese, salt, and sugar and beat well with a mixer until smooth and fluffy. This can take some time. Be sure the cream cheese is very soft before you add the other ingredients.
Then stir in the dissolved gelatin/lemon juice mixture. Fold in dates and pineapple. Then fold in the whipped cream. Pour into an old fashioned ice cube mold, or an 8" square glass pan.
Cover and freeze until firm, 3-4 hours. Cut into squares to serve.

A sweet and easy fruit salad 4 kids
First of all you need to collect a few little things...
You will need:
(Serving 2)
7 sweet strawberries
1 Beastly Banana
2 plump plums
1 Perfect pear
200g of (plain) chunky chocolate
2 tasteful teaspoons of sugary sugar
and a large cube of vast Vanilla ice cream
You will also need:
2 medium sized bowls,
1 large bowl,
2 spoons,
a knife,
1 teaspoon,
A wooden spoon
and possibly a microwave (but if not don’t worry)
Getting started:
Get all ingredients out and make sure you have the right amount of things out and also check you have exactly 200g of plain chocolate out.
Firstly you will need to get out your vanilla ice cream out so that it will have defrosted by the time you come to use it.
Next you need to chop up your banana into small chunks (with the help of a parent or guardian) - then push them to the side for a short while.
After that (again with the help of an adult) chop the stalk of the strawberry's off and then chop them in half, 2 times.
Then your parent or guardian then needs to cut up your pear into little pieces remembering to miss the stalk, then chop the plum up remembering about the stone in the middle.
Break your chocolate up into little pieces then put it all into a bowl in the microwave. Set the time for 10 seconds and when it’s up take it out and give it a little stir. Then put it back into the microwave for 10 seconds and when the time is up, take it out and give it a little stir.
Keep doing this until the chocolate is completely melted. Put all of the chopped up fruit into one big bowl then slowly add the chocolate while stirring. Once all the chocolate is mixed in put it into the fridge for 20 - 45 minutes.
While waiting get approximately 150g - 200g and place it into a big bowl then do the same with the ice cream as you did to the chocolate. Once the time is up put the melted ice cream on the top of all the chocolate and fruit.
Mix it in as best as possible then put back into the fridge for 30 minutes. Once all the time is up serve all of the salad into 2 bowls. Then sit back and enjoy your sweet and easy fruit salad!

1/4 cup blackberries
1/4 cup raspberries
For the cranberry dressing:
1/4 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
To make the dressing, blend cranberries, lemon juice, brown sugar and vegetable oil in blender and process until smooth. Divide the dressing into four equal portion.
Place the spinach leaves in the bottom of the salad bowl. Cover with a separate layer of each berry. Finish with a layer of spinach leaves.Make sure to drizzle a single portion of the cranberry dressing on every layer.

1 cantaloupe, halved
1 small watermelon, halved
1 cup blueberries
1 cup strawberries, sliced
2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
1 cup honey
1/8 tsp salt
fresh mint leaves
Cut both the cantaloupe and watermelon in half, clean out the seeds and pulp, and scoop out the good stuff with a melon baller; put melon balls in large bowl and set cantaloupe and watermelon 'bowls' aside. (hint, slice tiny bit off bottom of cantaloupe and watermelon bowls to help them stand up straight if necessary)
Prepare remaining fruit and add to bowl with melon balls.
Drizzle honey over all the fruit, sprinkle with salt, and stir gently to combine.
Spoon fruit mixture into melon bowls, cover with plastic food wrap, and set in refrigerator to chill.
Serve with a sprig of fresh mint on each bowl. May also like a dollop of whipped cream topping or vanilla yogurt.
Makes 4 little fruit bowls.
