Gyro Recipe
We use chicken or pork cut in strips for this gyro recipe. It is topped
with a cucumber yogurt sauce and served in a flat bread, pita bread or
tortilla. Both parts of this recipe need to marinade so it is a
great make
ahead recipe. All you need to do at dinnertime is cook marinated meat.
You can serve with carrot, pepper and cucumbers sticks as the yogurt
dressing
makes a good vegetable dip.
We have a second beef gyro pita sandwich recipe that is great stuffed in a pita shell or tortilla.
