Soup
These ham vegetable soup recipes can be changed easily by changing the
vegetables you have on hand. We have several ham soup recipes here.

Easy Soup Recipe
Ham Vegetable Soup
8 Cup chicken broth
2 medium potatoes, cubed or equal to 2 Cups cubed
1 ½ Cup broccoli flowerets and 1Cup cauliflower
flowerets or
use small bag of broccoli/cauliflower mix
¼ teaspoon nutmeg, optional
½ Cup chopped, cooked ham
Combine broth and potatoes in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce
heat and simmer until potatoes are tender. Stir in
broccoli, cauliflower and nutmeg. Simmer 5 minutes until vegetables are
tender. Stir in chopped ham and heat through. **Serve with breadsticks
use recipe below if desired.
Crockpot Ham Corn Chowder
1 cup frozen hash browns with peppers and onions
1 cup cooked ham, diced
1 pkg (10 oz) frozen corn
1 can (10 oz) cream of mushroom soup
2 to 2 1/2 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste
Put all ingredients in crockpot and stir to combine. Set heat to Low
and cook for 5 to 7 hours. Add more salt and pepper if desired.
~ You can substitute diced cooked chicken for the ham if you desire.
Ham Macaroni and Cheese
Chowder
1 (14 oz.) can of chicken broth
1 Cup of water
1 Cup of elbow macaroni
1 Cup frozen corn
1 Cup frozen peas and carrots
1 Cup cooked ham, diced
6 oz. of American cheese, cubed
1 Cup milk
Pour the chicken broth and water into a large saucepan.
Place the pan over high heat and bring to a brisk boil.
Pour in the macaroni.
Reduce the heat to medium low.
Simmer for 12 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
Do not drain.
Stir in the corn, peas and carrots, ham and cheese cubes.
Pour the milk into the pan and stir until blended in well.
Cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until the cheese has completely
melted.
Makes 4 servings
