Basic White Homemade Sauce Recipe
1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon flour
1 Cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon other seasonings, such as garlic or Italian seasoning if
desired
Melt butter. Whisk in flour making a roux. Whisk in milk and
seasonings. Simmer until thickens.
