OATS SEMOLINA SALTY STEAMED MUFFINS
HEALTHY WAY TO START YOUR LIFE
Oats is a healthy grain like wheat,barley or corn. It is really good for health because of many reasons
1. Oats contain higher soluble fiber than any other grains.
2. Oats help in reducing cholesterol.
3. Oats are higher in dietary fibers and proteins.
4. Oats are higher in iron and magnesium.
INGREDIENTS:
1. Oats (1/2 cup ){grind to make a powder}
2. semolina -1/2 cup.
3. yoghurt- 1 cup.
4. water - 1/2 cup.
5. fruit salt- 3/4 tsp .
6. ghee- for greasing muffin cups.
7. salt - as required.
8. raisins- 1 tsp soaked.
9. dry fruits-2tsp .
10.coconut powder-1 tsp.
11.soyabean powder-1tsp.
12.gram flour- 1tsp.
13.mustard seeds-for seasoning.
14.edible oil- 1 tsp.
METHOD OF PREPARATION
Grind oats in order to make a powder and keep it aside. Put oats powder, semolina, yoghurt, raisin, dry fruits, coconut powder, gram flour powder, soybean powder and salt in a bowl and beat the mixture.
Add enough water to make a smooth batter of thick yet slightly of pouring consistency. Keep the batter aside for 15-20 minutes. Add fruit salt to the prepared batter and mix well. Put two cups of water in the steamer and grease the muffin cups and add the batter in the muffins cups and keep them inside the steamer and allow them to be steamed for 15-20 minutes.
Eat them with the tomato ketchup.
