Mexican Style Pizza

Ingredients:

1 14" pre-made pizza crust
1 lb. ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
8-12 oz. Mexican-blend shredded cheese
1 jar of salsa
1 green pepper
1 large tomato
1 medium red onion


Directions:

Cook the ground beef until it is completely browned. Drain the fat. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer until most of the water has evaporated. Place the pizza crust on a pizza pan. Spread a layer of salsa on the pizza crust, make sure it covers the crust. Sprinkle the cheese over the salsa. Then spread the seasoned ground beef over the cheese. Add chopped green peppers, tomatoes, and red onions. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Cut, serve, and eat up.

Homemade Pizzas

Ingredients:

1 sachet of yeast
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of honey
1 cup of warm water
3cups of flour
1 pinch of salt
Sauce
Any pizza toppings that you want


Mix the yeast, olive oil, honey and water gently until the yeast and honey dissolve. Cover it and leave it for 5 minutes.Combine the flour and the salt together,add the yeast liquid slowly and mix it.Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface and shape the dough into a ball.

Put the ball of dough in a warm place and cover it for 45 minutes or until it has doubled in size.Divide the dough into 3 even pieces and roll out each peace to make the pizza base. Put the pizza base on a lightly floured tray and spread your pizza toppings on it evenly.Bake your pizza at 220 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes or until it is golden brown.

    Chicken Pizzas

    2 (9 oz.) pkg. southwestern cooked chicken breast strips
    2 (11.5 oz.) cans refrigerated cornbread twists, try the cornbread dough recipe here.
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mexican cheese blend, shredded

    Allow the oven to preheat to 375 degrees.

    Cut the chicken strips into small chunks.

    Unroll both cans of cornbread twists and separate into 4 rectangles each.

    Place the rectangles of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

    Roll the each rectangle out to 5 1/2 in long and 4 1/2 in wide pieces.

    Cut each rolled piece into 2 pieces longwise.

    Spread the chicken over the top of each rectangle piece of dough.

    Sprinkle each piece of dough evenly with the cheese.

    Bake 18 minutes or until the dough is a golden brown and the cheese has melted.

    Barbecue Chicken Pizza

    Pizza crust
    1/2 cup barbecue sauce
    Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    Chopped chicken, grilled or baked
    Place pizza crust in pan and spread barbecue sauce over the top. Place chicken on top of barbecue sauce and spread shredded cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
