Recipe For Fajitas
Whether
you are looking to use chicken or beef, try this recipe for fajitas.
Kids can easily help with this recipe by stirring the marinade
ingredients
together and pouring into a baggie with the meat.
Making Fajitas
- Cut
chicken or beef into strips and
marinade in
a plastic Ziploc baggie overnight or prepare in the morning.
Marinade
ingredients:
2 tablespoons lime juice
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 1/2 teaspoon oregano
You can also try this meat
marinade recipe.
- Cut
2
green, yellow, red or a combination of peppers into slices.
- Cut
1 onion
into rings.
- Cut 1-2 carrots into sticks.
- To
prepare, cook marinade meat including the juice,
pepper slices, carrot sticks and sliced onions in a pan for about 10
minutes until meat is cooked through.
- Serve
on
flour tortillas with
sour cream or guacamole.
