Wherever you decide to have your herb garden you will need to care
for it to enable the herbs to grow well. The herbs will require just
the right amount of water and must not be over watered; the soil should
be moist and not damp.
Timing is everything when it comes to picking your herbs; you need to ensure that you do this at the correct time. If you pick them too early then they won't be at their prime, and too late and they would have spoiled.

pestle or place them in a baggie and crush with a rolling pin. Store in
a cool, dry place-not next to the stove.

fresh herbs.

When replacing fresh herbs with dried herbs, 1/4 teaspoon dried
herbs is equal to 2-3 teaspoons chopped fresh.
